AMRUT

Introduction

  • The Government of India has launched the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) with the aim of providing basic civic amenities like water supply, sewerage, urban transport, parks as to improve the quality of life for all especially the poor and the disadvantaged.
  • Open space is very essential on day today life where kids got place to play, Middle aged or old age people got place for jogging, meditation and yoga for better and healthy life.
  • Cuttack Municipal Corporation has been identified 21 no.s of parks project comes under AMRUT in municipal areas which development costing around 8.85 Cr.
  • The said project approved in 3 SAAP Year(2015-16), (2016-17),(2017-18).
  • Out of 21 Parks 15 no.s of parks are completed and others are in progress.
